Pier15 Skatepark has added a new skate facility: The Bowl
In the summer of 2017, the Nine Yards skatepark team added a front yard to their home base, Pier15 Skatepark. With a classic design, they created a high-quality concrete skateboard bowl that has been enjoyed by many pro skaters.
The request from township Breda
With Pier15 Skatepark, the city of Breda gained a new hotspot. The surrounding area, Haveneiland, attracted more and more visitors, including both athletes and recreational users. With a basketball court and a freerunning course already in place, the outdoor skate facility was missing. This led to the demand for a bowl in front of Pier15 Skatepark.
The realization by Nine Yards
We go the whole Nine Yards, always, but especially for our flagship, Pier15 Skatepark. "Working from home" has never been so enjoyable. Thanks to our strong collaboration with the city of Breda, we constructed a high-quality concrete bowl with a classic design. The entire community gathers around the bowl, and the outdoor area now exudes skateboard culture. Numerous events have taken place in the bowl, and it has been ridden by international pro skaters.
