In the autumn of 2017, Nine Yards constructed a complete indoor skate park in Oostende. This stylish skate park is the result of a collaboration between the Oostende township and the Nine Yards team.
The request from the township of Oostende
A ready-made design, but no reliable execution partner. The Oostende township was inspired by 'our' Pier15 skatepark and asked Nine Yards to bring the skatepark design to life, in the style of the successful Pier15. The result is a light, atmospheric indoor skatepark.
The realization by Nine Yards
Thanks to our experience, especially in creating the comprehensive concept of Pier15 skatepark, we were able to build a stylish and atmospheric indoor skatepark in Oostende. It's the perfect match of location, desires, and material usage. By cleverly incorporating concrete, wood, and steel, we designed a skatepark with international allure.
