Indoor skate park in the heart of Bruges
A modern indoor skatepark in the heart of historic Bruges, Belgium. In collaboration with the Youth Service of Bruges, local skaters, and Nine Yards Skateparks, this skatepark has become a real attraction for all skaters in Bruges and the surrounding areas.
The request from Bruges
A distinctive skate park in an old car garage, right in the city of Bruges. The Youth Service of Bruges was looking for a contractor and operator for this project. Nine Yards Skateparks took care of the construction and, together with the operator, designed the skate park. From our experience, we also provided input on facilities such as catering and interior design. The result is a modern indoor skate park in a historic building, right in the heart of Bruges.
The realization by Nine Yards
We contributed to the overall concept. Drawing from our experience, partly gained from the Pier 15 skatepark, we knew how to make the most of the space. The city of Bruges found a fantastic location, and we helped organize it functionally. This involved designing the catering area, selecting the right flooring, and creating a fresh color palette with exciting material choices. This way, the skatepark stands out effectively.
